Rollercoaster or Slow Boat Ride? I'm betting on Rollercoaster...

Life Lately: A Rollercoaster, a Boat Ride, and a Check-In With Your Soul

What’s happening in your world?

Are you feeling steady, grounded, centered…
or are you white-knuckling your way through the week hoping the universe doesn’t throw one more plot twist at you?

Either way — you’re not wrong, and you’re definitely not alone.

Life is a wild little rollercoaster.
And not the cute, simple ones.
I’m talking the ones that drop your stomach into another dimension, whip your head to the side, and make you question every decision you made that morning.

I used to love those big dips and scary turns.
I really did.
The adrenaline, the thrill, the “let’s do that again!” energy.

But these days?
Give me the slow boat ride through the amusement park.
The one with the calm music, twinkly lights, and everyone minding their business while I sit there quietly like:
“Yes. This. This is my pace now.”

Not because I don’t seek adventure — I do.
Not because I’m scared of the big twists anymore — trust me, I’ve survived enough of them to have a punch card.
It’s simply because I’ve learned to appreciate chill.
Presence.
The moments that don’t demand a reaction from you, but gently invite you to breathe.

And maybe you’re somewhere in between right now.
Maybe life is giving you both:
a rollercoaster on Monday
and a lazy river on Tuesday.

So consider this your check-in.

Where is your soul today?
Not where you “should” be.
Not where everyone expects you to be.

But where you actually are.

Are you exhausted and pretending you’re fine?
Are you buzzing with excitement but scared to say it out loud?
Are you craving a pause, a shift, a breath, a restart?
Are you hanging on by a thread and calling it “thriving” because that’s the brand you’ve committed to this week?

Wherever you are — it’s valid.
And it’s temporary.
Every chapter moves. Every feeling shifts. Every season evolves.

The real magic is learning to recognize what you need right now and giving yourself permission to choose the boat ride when everyone else is running toward the coaster.

So…
What’s happening in your world today?
And what does your soul need — right now — in this moment?

Whatever your answer is, honor it.
Your evolution depends on it.
