Bloom Through the Mud - The EV logo and its message

The lotus flower shows up in Ancient Egypt, Buddhism, Hinduism, Greek, Korean, and Chinese folklore—each culture giving it a story, a lesson, a secret tucked into its petals.
And my favorite story?
The one that actually sticks?
Well, I tie them all together into a simple single story:
A lotus seed sits under water. Sometimes it lies in or buried in thick mud under that water mud. While you and I may think that mud is burdening it. It's actually nourishing it. Then that lotus begins to grow - pushing through the mud and the barrier of water. Up she rises towards the sun, then blooming into the kind of flower that stops you right in your tracks.
Here’s the truth: life is messy. The “burdens” you’re dragging around? They’re not obstacles—they’re fertilizer. Painful? Yes. Exhausting? Absolutely. But without it, you don’t grow. You don’t bloom. You don’t glow.
And see that atom hovering over the lotus in the logo? That’s your reminder that science and spirit can hang out in the same space.
Matter and magic.
Physics and soul.
They all belong here, growing together, experiencing this wild human ride.
So soak it in. Embrace the mud. Keep rising towards the sun. And bloom.
Until the next one,
