If You’re Still Searching, Good. That Means You Haven’t Settled.

I saw this line the other day, and it hit me like a truth I didn’t know I needed.
"If you’re still searching, good. That means you haven’t settled."
If you're anything like me, you're still chasing down a few checkboxes in life—some dreams, some goals, some wildly specific gut feelings you can’t quite explain but know you have to follow. You're not done yet. And you’re not supposed to be.
People like us, we’re wired a little differently. We’re the outliers. The black sheep. The ones people tell to “just settle down already.” The ones who politely nod while quietly thinking, “There’s still more.”
And guess what? That’s not a flaw. That’s hunger. That’s drive. That’s you still listening to your soul—and that’s a gift in a world where so many have gone numb.
Over the years, I’ve had to let go of relationships that didn’t fit. Not because I didn’t care, but because they didn’t understand what it’s like to feel deeply called to something beyond the day-to-day. I was expected to quiet the fire. To play small. To bend and fold into their version of “normal.” And when I didn’t? I lost them.
And I’m okay with that. It was time we went our separate ways anyway. That's how life works.
Truth is, I want to live surrounded by people who still dream. Who still search. Even if we’re in our 40s, 50s, 60s, or beyond. I want the kind of energy around me that says, “What’s next?” not “Why bother?”

So if you’re still searching—good.
That means you’re still alive. You’re still in it. You’re still willing to evolve, to push boundaries, to expand into the person you’re here to become.
Don’t quiet that part of you just because it makes other people uncomfortable.
Don't call it “too much” just because they don't get it.
Don’t shrink. Don’t settle. Keep going.
This is your journey. No one else’s.
And if the road you’re walking is a little lonelier sometimes, that just means you're not wasting time on detours that aren’t yours to take.
Keep searching.
It means your story’s still unfolding—and you’re brave enough to keep writing it.
'Til the next one, take care.

“Oh, every time I close my eyes
I see my name in shiny lights, yeah
A different city every night, oh, I swear
The world better prepare for when I’m a billionaire’- good stuff
